Which data is used — and why?
When you send a question or request a free prototype, Nolera may process:
- business name;
- email address;
- mobile number, if you choose to provide it;
- website, Google Business Profile or social profile, if you provide a link;
- the question or business description you provide yourself.
The data is used to receive, understand and respond to your question or enquiry. If you request a free homepage prototype, the materials are also used to assess and prepare it. The materials are reviewed manually. Nolera does not use the data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Processing is based on Nolera’s legitimate interest in handling an enquiry that you submit yourself. If an agreement is entered into, data may subsequently also need to be processed to fulfil the agreement and comply with legal obligations.
When you enter a website address in the preview form, we check the public page. That check is reused for up to five minutes and does not send any email. In the Website Check, the free review starts when you choose to check the website. We read up to ten public pages and save the report. No email is sent until you choose to receive the report by email.
When you request a free SEO review, separately or as an optional addition to the homepage preview, we use your website address to automatically read up to ten public pages. The separate review can be started without an email address. If you choose to receive the report by email, your address is used for that purpose. We reuse the same review for up to 24 hours. Your email address is not automatically added to a subscription. If you would like further help, you can reply to the report email.
The report is stored privately in Google Cloud Storage in the europe-west1 region. A random access key is required to read it. The private report link remains valid for 30 days. Storage has an automatic deletion rule for report files 31 days after they were last saved. After deletion, the provider retains a protected recovery copy for a further seven days; it cannot be accessed through the report link. If you choose to share, a separate link is created to a limited, dated result. Sharing lasts for up to seven days and can be revoked in the private report. Email addresses, access keys and report identifiers are not sent to Analytics. Report views are not measured with Analytics.
Providers and transfers
Forms are delivered through Resend to Nolera’s email. Resend is also used for an automatic confirmation when you provide an email address. Confirmation of a general question relates to that question, not to a Prototype. If you provide only a mobile number, no automatic email confirmation is sent. Resend also delivers the report when you request a free SEO review. If you choose the review with the preview, you receive the report instead of an extra confirmation email. Resend processes message content and delivery data in the USA and states that the transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Read more in Resend’s data processing agreement and GDPR information.
For the mobile test, the public website address you provide is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service. Google fetches the page and analyses aspects including loading speed and accessibility. Your email address is not included in this API request. The test result is used in the report you requested. Read more about PageSpeed Insights and Google’s privacy policy.
Visitor statistics and cookies
Nolera uses Google Analytics 4 only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Before you accept, Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookie is set. You can reject statistics and continue using the website.
When statistics are accepted, Google Analytics may process pseudonymous data about the visit, such as pages viewed, simple interactions, approximate location and information about the browser and device. Nolera does not send the business name, email address, mobile number, business link or free text from the form to Analytics.
Nolera has disabled Google signals and ad personalisation in its measurement. Analytics cookies are limited to a maximum of 180 days in Nolera’s configuration. Google processes Analytics data on Nolera’s behalf under Google’s data processing terms.
Your choice is saved locally in your browser and can be changed using the Cookie settings button in the footer. When statistics are rejected, Nolera removes the Analytics cookies belonging to the website. Read more in Google’s information about data collection in Google Analytics and how Analytics data is protected.
How long is the data kept?
Data from an enquiry is kept only for as long as needed to handle the contact and any continuing business relationship. Data that needs to be retained for contracts, accounting or other legal obligations is kept for the period applicable to each obligation and is not used for other purposes.
Your rights
You can request information about your data, correction, deletion or restriction, or object to processing. The right depends on the circumstances and may be limited by legal obligations. Contact hej@nolera.se.
If you believe your data is being handled incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
